This policy explains what information bothways collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service.
What we collect
Account details you provide (such as your name and email), the content you create (trips, itineraries, places, packing lists, flights, and photos), and basic technical information like device and usage data that helps us keep the app working and secure.
How we use it
We use your information to provide and improve bothways, to let you collaborate with others on your trips, to send essential account emails, and to keep the service safe. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We rely on trusted providers to operate the app — for example, hosting and database/storage infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations.
Photos & shared content
Content you add to a trip is visible to the other people invited to that trip. Photos are stored so the app can display them to your trip's members. Deleting a photo or trip removes it from the app.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must keep it to meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You can view and update much of your information in the app, and you can delete your trips, photos, or your whole account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your data — contact us to exercise them.
Children
bothways isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone who isn't old enough to use the service in their country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy over time. We'll revise the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
